Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen took on McGill through her grappling and ended her fight in the third round by TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last event for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound win in the second round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round she was awarded a bonus for her performance during the evening. Her debut fight was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters.
