Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss as is her mom who's English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was awarded. At the academy was when she performed in various stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following that success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was then removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she'd leave the series after making one guest appearance on the very first season of the third. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, is a member of the large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were all very physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley was never a walker, she did dance, so when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley was hooked on dance immediately. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. She also won best soloist awards at all important dance competitions like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
