Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor, and businesswoman from Australia. She started her career in Australia before moving to Hollywood in which she is a huge popularity. A native of the city of Perth George began her journey in dance and creative roller skating. When she was in her teens, George started modeling and in 1992 won the Western Australian teenager Model. In an episode of the soap-opera on Seven Network, Home and Away, she was the first to make her screen debut within the year following. Her big screen debut was in the mystery thriller Dark City and essayed various supporting roles in projects like Alias The Limey and Down with Love before presenting her first appearance as the female lead in a mainstream Hollywood production in 2005's version of The Amityville Horror . She is currently one of the sought-after Australian expatriates within the American film and entertainment industry.
