JessicaJessica Ann Simpson Johnson (born on July 10, 1980)[1She is an American actor, singer businesswoman, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. After performing in the church choir as a child, Simpson signed with Columbia Records in 1997, when she was seventeen. Sweet Kisses, her first album of her own, debuted in 1999. It sold 2 million copies throughout the United States. She also enjoyed commercial success with her hit single "I Wanna Love You Forever". Simpson changed her image to reflect a more mature image for her second studio album Irresistible (2001). The album's title track was her second number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), certified it gold. This Skin (2003) was her third studio album. It sold 3 million copies across America. Simpson's earlier career was marked by her wedding to Nick Lachey. She also appeared on the reality TV show on MTV called Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica in 2003 and in 2005. Simpson made her movie debut on The Dukes of Hazzard (2006) as Daisy Duke after the release of ReJoyce The Christmas Album (2004). In the soundtrack to the film, she also recorded a cover version of "These Boots are Made for Walking" In 2006, she debuted her fifth studio album A Public Affair and appeared in the romantic comedy film Employee of the Month. Simpson began to move into country music following the release of her sixth album Do You Know (2008). Simpson has also launched The Jessica Simpson Collection, an apparel-focused line that includes 34 product categories. It is the most successful licensed brand for celebrities in the world that has more than $1 billion of sales so far. She also starred on the reality television series The Price of Beauty in 2010. She also judged the fashions during two seasons of Fashion Star between 2012 and 2013. Simpson is married to Eric Johnson, with whom she has three children.
